I got this because some people have told me they like chrome books and it was a great deal at Christmas. I miss some of the features of my other laptop so I might still get a new one when I have more money but it seems fast, it's light weight and I have watched videos on it. It would probably be good for kids or traveling when you want internet access but don't want to bring your more expensive devices.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had it only a month. Works well, sometimes I have to wait for it to sync but not too long. You have to remember to use it (attach it to your clothes) and don't forget to take it off at the end of the day. It has a very strong clip that doesn't fall off like my other pedometer did. It's really surprising how much you walk (or don't walk) and how active you really are, it's a handy reminder.

I got this at Christmas at a good deal. My first "smart" phone. Everything works well for me but I'm not very experience with the phone. I do have one complaint, I haven't been able to send out texts, and I'm having a hard time reaching someone to help. I don't text much but it's a good feature to have.

Can you charge the battery with my computer?

I am skeptical to buy this if the battery life is short. I don't want to keep replacing batteries. Most tracking devices can be charged on a computer.
No can't recharge, I think it might be because some people don't want to remember to recharge. They do have others that do recharge.

How do you reset steps taken?

I have had several pedometers and stopped using them because the reset button is way to easy to hit by accident. Is this a problem with the zip?
It resets itself at 12 midnight.

Does it track Aerobic Activity

Say if i do an hour of taebo, will it track how many calories I burned?
Don't know. It seems to track movement but not if I am standing or in my car/bus. On the site it tells me how long I am active, which always freaks me out because it will tell me I was only active for 25 minutes but I guess that's because it doesn't count standing. When I walk a lot my active count does go up. Sorry if I wasn't helpful.

Does it track miles?

Yes. It does miles, steps, calories and tells time. Online it will tract other things on it's site.

does fitbit work without smart phone?

I know the fitibit counts steps, calories burned, etc.. but does it work without a smart phone?
You might need to use a computer to track yourself. It does give you a read out that you could write down if you want. I don't remember if you need a computer to set it up, sorry. It has a battery so maybe not.
