Keep on working with this ultrawide LG IPS monitor. Its native resolution is 2560 x 1080, giving you more screen area in which to work in and providing a wider view for your design processes. It also uses IPS technology, which produces vivid colors and good contrasts from this 29-inch LG IPS monitor.

I purchased this to use on a 3 monitor VESA mount, specifically for the upper monitor position. I love it. I can run two full screen windows side by side, such as two web browser tabs without having a responsive or mobile-like website display. This is exactly what I was looking for and the picture quality and responsiveness are great.

I own two other sets of Logitech Computer speaker systems (both 5.1 surround systems), specifically the Z506 [have owned for probably 5-6 years now] and the X540 [purchased probably 10 years ago]. Those have been excellent systems with great sound quality and performance for the price. When setting up a new home office, I decided to look for either a 2.1 or a 2.0 system because I didn't need 5.1 for meetings and the occasional music. I debated between these and another Logitech 2.0 system, but finally decided to get these for the small price difference. I'm glad I did, because the sound is amazing for the price. I can definitely hear a quality difference between this and my Z506, but for roughly 1/3 the price (on sale), this really cannot be beat. They are plenty loud and the subwoofer speaker looks identical to that from my Z506 system.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this system and expect that it will last a very long time like my other Logitech systems.

After getting frustrated with this adapter last night because it was not working despite following the instructions, I decided to try reinstalling the driver today. My hunch was that the driver did not install correctly last night because of an issue with the instructions. Specifically, the install guide states that after the install completes you need to go into the Security and Privacy setting and click 'Open All' to essentially accept the code's digital signature and allow it to run. My guess was that by accepting this signature after the installer tried to update the pre-boot settings did not allow the driver to properly install. That would also explain why the device did not appear to do anything last night when I tried it. The screen would just remain blank and never received a signal. However, after reinstalling the driver, the device is working great!
I haven't tried any videos yet, but scrolling is smooth and text entry is no different than a regular HDMI output. Your mileage may vary though depending on the processor. I'm running a Core i7 from Mid-2014 with 16GB of RAM, so that may help.
Overall, if you run into an issue with the install where you're just getting a blank screen on a Mac, try installing the driver again after you accept the digital signature (by clicking 'Allow') in the Settings --> Security & Privacy menu. It worked for me, and will most likely work for you too! Definitely a much cheaper option than buying a new Mac too!
