what interface cable and power-adapter cable do i need for this? These items are not included in the box despite the website saying that they are.
You always need to buy a SATA cable for connection. You should have the power adapter already available from your power supply on your computer. The drive comes with adapters in case you have older power supply/computer and need it. No hard drive comes with the "interface" cable. You should buy it.

Does this router work with AT&T U-Verse high speed internet
I have U-Verse and I need a router that can support more devices. Will this work
It does work with U-Verse, but only as a replacement for wireless networking or direct connection of a computer etc. Your TV and Phone will still have to come from the U-Verse router. There are good instructional videos online showing how to set this up.
