After my epson printer died on me after only a year, I thought I'd switch over to HP. The printer scans, copies, and prints wonderfully. I love that it allows you to see the scan before you save it, and it allows you to save in many different formats. The only downfall is that it doesn't print double sided automatically, and the manual double sided print is a little wonky. When printing a long paper I have to go through and swap the order of the document to print on the other side. I gave it 3 stars for this reason, as it is annoying. However, the printer works wonderfully otherwise.

can I print pictures from my cell phone with out have an Internet connection?

I wanted to know if I can bluetooth from my smartphone to the printer to print pictures without having an internet connection. If not can I use my phone as a mobile Hotspot and print that way.
Yes you can, there is an app for your phone that allows you to do this.

Can scan and send photos to laptop/emails from this printer & how?

yes, if you install the printer on your laptop from the HP webpage it will put a printer icon on your computer that will allow you to scan and email.
