Works well but if you have a 55 or bigger the range is not that much until the outside edges hit the wall. For price point and function works, but the 2 set screws to set the arm location are a pain to get to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will this mount work on a brick fireplace?

I dont see why not, you would have to get specific masonry anchors that are not included.
