First time user of a portable DVD. I charge it after every use, and it recharges quickly. I put it on the kitchen table to use the DVD of my kitchen chair exercises.

This is a great little all-in-one for the casual home user. It is not very fast, but then I don't need a fast printer. I especially like that the paper feeds from the back, eliminating the need for the paper or envelope to double back on itself, thus reducing wrinkles. The touchscreen menu is not as convenient as on my old workforce Epson, but does the job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the unit make noise? And does it resume play after powering off and back on?

Does this unit make any (backround) noise while playing discs? Have run across this before, very annoying. Also, can the unit resume play from the point where it was stopped (powered off, then back on)?

Can't print?

I have never been able to print one clear copy on my new printer. I have gone through one entire black cartridge trying to correct the problem. The copies come out streaked with printing on about every third line. The print is extremely light even on the third lines. The ink cartridges are new and full. Nozzle cleaning performed multiple times. Head alignment is barely visible - also streaked. Head alignment performed at factory setting and other various numbers. Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
When I first got my XP410, after the first week the same thing happened. I called Epson and the support person told me to clean the nozzles at least four or five times, it worked and no problems since. But because you have already done that, I'd call Epson!
