I bought one of these for my grandmother around Thanksgiving 2014 when it was less than $200. For the price, I think it is a great TV. The picture is nice and the the light distribution is nicer than other budget sets I've seen (no horrible light-bleed around the edges). The sound quality isn't the best. I would highly recommend a sound bar. Turned up pretty far, it doesn't get very loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This bag is well-made and fairly light. I can get quite a bit in it, but I wish it maybe had a few extra small pockets and a way to hold letter-size paper without folding it. It also has a nice amount of padding to protect my gadgets.

What's great about it: Access to your DVR from anywhere
What's not so great: The apps are $15, and there are separate apps for phone and tablet
Overall I like the Slingbox M1, but I think it is a bit ridiculous to buy a $150 device and then have to drop another $15 per platform and device type (separate apps for tablets and phones). It works pretty well and setup was pretty easy. The picture quality is better than I expected it to be since it is just a component connection and not HDMI, so no complaints there. It is nice to have access to my DVR from anywhere, but with the ability to stream content on demand from so many providers now, it is becoming less necessary to use a device like this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Battery life
What's not so great: Weight of screen/tablet
This is a great device that combines the usability of a laptop with a Windows tablet. I understand the main components of the laptop such as CPU, memory, etc are located in the screen which explains why it is heavier than a normal laptop screen or an iPad, but the extra weight can be a bit awkward when using it as a tablet.

Is there a compatible external cd drive available? Examples? Thanks!

I see the computer does not have an internal cd drive. Is there a proven compatible one available?
Any USB optical drive should work.

Is is Possible to Upgrade the RAM?

Yes, from what I have read it is possible to upgrade the memory, but it requires some disassembly of the tablet part (which looks like it wouldn't be too hard).
