I love the fact this holds 1TB of info, and is powered through the USB. I comes with some extras like a password lock and VPN accessible. Only reason I didn't give 5 was I needed to install the driver from Toshiba's webpage. The HDD is suppose to have it and be accessible, but my PC never found it. Installed and works fine now.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought 2 of these for extra monitors at work. I replaced a few smaller ones with these. The co-workers who go them really liked the size and resolution. Easy to set up, and super light weight. I recommended them to our satellite office as well due to quality and price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Light weight, easy to understand
What's not so great: FOV is not great, No way to setup external power source
Overall, I like the camera. It seems a bit pricy for what it is. I would like to have gotten a basic SD card with it so I could use it right away, instead of buying one. Other then the sticky mounts, it doesn't come with any other mounts. By the time you're ready to use it, you've bought almost $100 worth of extras. I did like that they included both the skeleton door and the waterproof door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: The ends where the plugs are are really thick.
Added it on my motorcycle to run my MP3 player to my speaker system. Works great, no complaints yet.

Is the one for $199 blue tooth ready for GO Pro?
The GoPro Hero 3 uses wifi instead of bluetooth. You can purchase the remote to control it, or use a smart phone that has wifi and use the free app.

Recommended memory card size?

What size memory card would you recommend for the Hero3? What size would allow for a day's worth of fun? (and not fill up after just a little while.)
I purchased a 64gb card from an online retailer for mine. Make sure it has a high speed rating for saving HD video. The battery only lasts about an hour and a half, but the 64gb card holds a little over 8 hours of video.

Is it true that there is no view finder on go pro?

Correct. You can purchase the additional screen or connect the wifi to the app for your wifi-enabled smart phone.

does it come with a mount that will work with a tri pod?

sorry if that's a dumb question but this is the first camera I am getting and just want to make sure that I will be able to mount it onto a tripod.
You will need to buy the tripod adapter attachment. Its about $15, and attaches to the bottom of the housing for the camera with a set screw.
