Simple to install. Had to use because only audio out was available. Works great. Price seemed a bit high. Do not expect any problems. Suggest considering Bluetooth when purchasing a TV. Some have it some dont.

hearing aids

can someone who wears 2 hearing aids use this product
I do not see any reason why not. Could be a bit difficult if device is behind the ear. No idea about feedback. Could be possible you can use wothout aids. More than I know. Suggest trying it to see how it works..In any event the unit operates independent of the TV volume.

Do these headphones work for pre-recorded programs or playing DVDs, or do they work just for direct transmission from tv program?

They should work for anything that has audio out plugs normally marked L and R.

Can these be used on a speaker system. Like at church

I really doubt it. The headset would have to be compatability with whatever the church has. There are systems made for such use. Suggest consulting with church. It is not a new problem for the church. Your ability to hear those words being said should be important to the Pastor.

can you get an extra headset for model MDRRF985RK

we want to buy the Sony - Wireless FM Over-the-Ear Headphones Model: MDRRF985RK and then also buy an additional separate headphone to go with it. will both headphones work with one transmitter unit and will the users be able to adjust the volume on each of their headphones individually and other people in the room also hear the tv? how much is the additional extra headphone and how can/where can I buy it? I see the headphone/transmitter model combo on the website, but don't see the headset alone.
Really believe you would be better off on all counts to buy two complete units. You will need two Y cords attached to L and R audio outputs on the TV. Even if you can find an extra headset you will only have one recharger. Do not know about your life but in mine having something work when we go to use it is a plus. A dead battery on one headset will not work out well.

Do the headphones work with all televisions?

Requires audio out connections. As far as I know it is standard configuration. That is the two audio plugs marked L and R.
