I was going to go with the HP that was then next step down. But the sales lady told me aboutthis one.And I bought it. for $50 more and it had bigger hard drive more memory. But no touch screen.
It runs my sons games pretty good.
So happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought one on cyber Monday. And I loved it where I could watch movies off my computer and ipad. and simple to hook up and run right out of the box. So instead of keep on unplugging it from one tv to go to another. I bought another one Xmas eve and paid $28 for the second one. I paid $22 for the first one. The second one I got a code with it for $20 to use in the google play store. (only through BestBuy) So not a bad deal. It's great that I can just load up a movie and watch it on the big screen. I thought about getting the Amazon one but it wouldn't let me watch movies that i have downloaded.
But the googlechromecast will not let me watch Amazon prime movies off there website which is a set back. So they all have there plus and minus to them.
But I might buy a Amazon one to if they come down in price. So I can watch prime.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the Chromecast work on 5Ghz band width WiFi?

I have one of those cable/wireless modems. The wireless doesn't work good at all so I disabled it and use my own Belkin N600 wireless modem. I run it at the 5Ghz band width instead of the standard 2.4Ghz band width. My wifi works all over my house now. Some devices (like my BlueRay player) don't see the 5Ghz band width. Does Chromecast work with the 5.0 Ghz bandwidth?
It works on my 5.0 ghz band wireless router
