What's great about it: Easy to use
So far have cleaned the carpets in two rooms of my house and am very pleased with the results. The Power Scrub Deluxe is easy to use. It has to be refilled with clean water several times per room, but it is easy to do. I have found I get the best performance when I empty the dirty water every time I refill the clean water. You can tell when the clean water is empty when you pull back and don't see water moving up inside the dirty water vessel. Then just stop, empty dirty water, add clean water and continue on. I do a clean pass, the a rinse pass as the manual suggests and it works great. I have two dogs so I use the Hoover pet detergent.

Can I return a vacuum cleaner If I dont like it?

Hi, I want to buy Hoover deep cleaner, but I worry that It will be hard to use it on my high carpet. Is it possible to return it for exchange after I try it at home?
I would call or go to Best Buy and ask them. My guess is no, as it is hard to sell used products at full price. Maybe someone in your area has one that you can try.

abillity to remove imbedded soil

does this "scrub" remove inbedded soil at the root of the rug fibers?
That is a tough question. I guess you would have to inspect first for embedded soil, then use the unit and see if it was gone. I have not done this, but my water was fairly dirty after cleaning, and the carpet is vacuumed every two weeks, so I assume at least some of this dirt was imbedded. In any case, my carpet is cleaner than it was before and I am happy with it. I looked at a website that rated cleaners before I bought and this one was rated the best.

What accessories are included?

I was looking at this exact same carpet cleaner on Amazon, and in its description of accessories that come with the carpet cleaner, there's a lot more listed? For this carpet cleaner there's only a crevice tool and upholstery tool included, but the one on Amazon includes the crevice tool, upholstery tool, stair tool, spinscrub powered hand tool, 8' hose and mesh storage bag. I checked the number and they're the exact same carpet cleaner, so does the one here on Best Buy not come with all those extras like the one on Amazon?
My Best Buy purchase included all the tools you mentioned from Amazon, including the mesh storage bag.
