Couldn't install 5.1 speaker set without expending more money, time, and effort. I wanted to be able to play my CDs at a minimum. Volume is no longer a problem. Bass is adequate for 13x13x8 foot room.

Can you hook input to headphones output of sound card.sound blaster x?
If you wish to ; with that card are you using this for a second set of speakers? A traditional setup into the green input port is recommended.
