GPS blocks a lot of windshield so bought this to try dash mount. I think this is great for automobiles with flatter dashes. My car is more rounded and it wanders off.

I bought this for use with my laptop and it is perfect for that.

I had the Revolution MX previous and wore it out in about 4 years.
This is a fine replacement for that. Most buttons are programmable and layout is comfortable. Tracking seems to be good on the surfaces I have used it on.

What's great about it: Easy to get up and running
This is a nice little unit.
I would recommend it to anyone that does not have a "smart TV".
It connects to the network easily without some of the expected frustrations.
The channel choices are nice.
We got it for the wife's quilting room and she loves it. Buffering is minimal.
She likes it because she can move it between the bedroom and quilting room herself.

What's great about it: Picture size and quality of picture while streaming
Put this in the wife's quilting room with the Roku and she is very happy with it.
Went up on the existing wall mount with no issue that we used on the 19" that was there. She seems to be able to navigate the remote easily to switch between Directv and Streaming. Happy Wife....

mobile downloading options?

I want to put some digital movies on a device so my kids can watch them in the car on road trips. Currently, they have kindle fire hd 8gb and we can only store one movie on it. Thats fine at home because of the network. Can i use this to store movies and then use a usb to hook up the kindle to watch or download more movies? On a car ride im looking for some way to let them watch more movies. is this an option? are there other options?
I don't believe you can do what you are asking.
The kindle will not browse like a tablet / notebook will.
A unit like the Samsung Galaxy Note will work and you can use micro sd cards to store your movies on.
