I tried the original Surface (with Windows RT) when it launched back in 2012, but didn't like it's 16:9 widescreen format. While the Surface 3 has a more balanced width:height ratio, it still is primarily a landscape mode device. Holding it in portrait mode to read or take notes still seems weird. Windows 10 is better than Windows RT, but I still found it clumsier to use than iOS on iPad, though technically Windows 10 is a full OS. Pen writing and conversion to digital text wasn't as easy to figure out as I thought. Resolution also felt poorer now that I am used to Retina display on iPhone and iPad for many years. Really wanted to love this device, but ended-up returning it.

Bought this during the 4 hour sale on Best Buy a few weeks after the iPad mini 4 came out. Bought an iPad mini 4 from Apple first, since didn't want to get the 2-yr old model iPad mini 2. Then saw this one cheaper than the 2 at Best Buy, so went for it.
iPad mini 2 & 3 have poorer color gamut when compared to iPad mini 4. They're also a little thicker and heavier and screen is not fully-laminated. Side-by-side, you will notice the difference in colors, thickness and weight.
But a few weeks into it, I am glad I kept the 3 (and extra savings) and returned the 4.

Was highly recommended by two friends. I'm as tech-savvy as them, if not more. Yet, the pairing process was frustratingly slow. Took more than 45 minutes to do what were supposed to be 3 simple steps - download software on my Mac, register, pick my devices (TV, Xbox & SoundBar) and complete pairing. By the time it was done, I was already half-minded to return it.
To make matters worse, my TV IR is slightly blocked by SoundBar so at times when I switch to "Watch TV", the TV would not get the signal but SoundBar will turn on. Then, when I switch off, TV might turn on and SoundBar will be off. So certainly not usable if some of your devices don't have clear line of sight for IR 100% of the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had so much confusion over this product because Oster makes two toasters in this design, both in stainless steel, with only the plastic side pieces in either black or grey. Based on website description, I could not tell which one this was, because the title says "Black", but the picture shows grey sides. This model (6594) at Best Buy is Stainless Steel & Grey. The only "black" component in this model is the lever to pull the bread down and start, and the knob to control the shade. I finally returned this one and bought the stainless and black model (Oster TSSTJC5BBK) elsewhere.

Between last year and this summer, I kept looking for good deals for the KDL-50W800B, but eventually it just disappeared from shelves everywhere and was replaced by the KDL-50W800C.
The W800C adds built-in Android TV, while removing the 2-pairs of 3D glasses that were included with its predecessor.
It does have its quirks, and sound is still not as impressive as my 32" KDL-32S3000 back from 2007, because the new, slim TV's all have down-firing speakers now. However, I have no complaints in terms of picture.
In general, I prefer Sony colors way more than the Samsung's, and this one is no exception. I also like the MotionFlow default settings appear very natural and don't give me a jarring soap-opera effect.
Although I already had a TiVo, Apple TV and XBox 360 to watch Netflix, having it built into the TV and having controls to play/pause or launch Netflix right from the remote is a nice to have.
In the < 700 range, this TV is a steal. I paid a Benjamin more when it was launched.

I needed something to quickly replace my malfunctioning 8-year old 32" Sony KDL-32S3000, so that I wouldn't have to miss the Family Guy & Simpsons cross-over episode later that Sunday night. So I looked-up the cheapest replacement within reputable brands, and found this.
It's slim and hence has a very weak sound compared to the Sony LCD TV from 2007, but on the plus side, was light enough to easily pick-up from the shelf, throw in the back seat of the car, and then grab the box with one hand (not recommended) as I locked/unlocked car & home doors.
Assembly was required since these days TV don't come with stand installed, but my TV was all hooked-up in less than 30 minutes.
The colors were bright (typical of Samsung) vs. the dark contrasts of most Sony TV's. I didn't like that I still had only 2 HDMI inputs in 2014, but managed by buying a 3-to-1 HDMI pigtail switch later.
I also didn't like that there was no headphone out to be able to connect external speakers to enhance the sound. What I thought was analog stereo out ended-up being a service port, and in my hurry to connect it to my shelf speakers, I think I blew one of the amplified speakers, so be careful.
Still I managed to use it for a good 6 months before buying a nice 55" Sony.

After reading reviews here and looking for a pair of reasonably-priced 3D glasses for my Sony KDL-50W800C TV, I bought this pair. It came nicely packed flat, with an extra battery for when the first one runs out.
They were compatible and I was able to get them working, although it was not straightforward, which was expected. The instructions are specific to Samsung TV's and I didn't expect a Sony TV to show any status for them on the screen. The biggest challenge was finding 3D content online that I could play on my TV. I was able to find some MPEG-TS encoded samples, put them on a USB stick, and then play it on the TV to test out the glasses.
I didn't like that they don't quite give enough coverage, and during the day, I could see light and flickering from the corner of my eye from the area not covered by the lenses. However, because of lack of any good content to use these with, I was unable to test them thoroughly, and I ended-up returning them.
If you have a 3D Blu Ray player or 3D movies from HBO On Demand via cable, you might be able to enjoy them, and it sure beats spending more than double on the Sony model glasses.

Before buying this item, I bought and returned threeother items to complement my Sony KDL-50W800C TV. The first was the entry-level Sony HT-CT80, which is a 2015 model 80W soundbar, and the second was the Sony SWF-BR100, which is a 100 W wireless subwoofer compatible with the TV, and the third was the HT-CT260 soundbar with wireless subwoofer. The entry-level soundbar was good for its price, but still didn't sound loud enough, unless I used both the soundbar and the TV speakers. Music streamed via Bluetooth (or using an analog cable connected to my Airport Express) sounded only OK. The wireless subwoofer added impressive bass, but didn't help with the overall TV sound. Keeping both meant spending way too much. So I looked around and found this 2013 model on clearance. The HT-CT260 ended-up blocking part of the TV, and being gray in color didn't quite match the black color of the TV.
Comparing all these products, the HT-CT370 seems like a good compromise for my needs. I was happy to find out that the color is black and matches my TV, TiVo and XBox pretty well, even though the online pictures show a a dark gray color..
The sound is decent and I like that streamed music as well as TV sound is loud enough to enjoy without a bass that might disturb the neighbors (the SWF-BR100 was thumpier), the soundbar is slim profile and fits nicely in front of the TV stand, and the wireless subwoofer can be tucked in nicely beside my couch.
The bar is a little wider (because of diamond shape cross section) that the entry-level HT-CT80 (which had a square cross-section) and despite being lower in height, still manages to cover the TV's IR receiver. Hence, I wish they had added an IR emitter to the back of the bar, kind of like the one available with the HT-CT260H.

Do you peel off the red and blue labels on the glasses?
The pictures do not have the red and blue tabs on the glasses but it looks like they have wires on them. Do they stay or do you peel them off? If stay then why do the pics show differently??
It's just protective film for the lenses with small red and blue tabs, only for shipping and assembly.. There are no wires. You need to remove them to be able to use the glasses properly.
