I initially bought this to use with Alexa which I found a little difficult for myself to control the t.v. Maybe I don't have the right commands set or it's a little complicated to tell Alexa to change the t.v. To the National Geographic channel all in one sentice. A lot of times she doesn't understand me. I am still giving this product 5 stars because the remote itself is awesome and I will never go back to a standard remote ever again. It's fully programmable and I love it. I am waiting to get some extra cash to buy another one for the bedroom t.v.

Are you limited in the app on how many devices can be programmed. I don't plan to use the remote, I want to use this with Amazon Echo instead. Seams like it should have unlimited if you don't have to worry about how many programmable remote buttons.

Can this device replace a TWC remote?

Yes I use mines to control my twc box.

My box has a red light on it do you know why? My control is not working .

Try to reset and reinstall the device using the app.

How do I reset the Internet connection on the box to remove the red light ?

There is a reset button on the back of the unit.

Yes this works with almost all cable boxes and optimum it definitely does.
