The monitor looks as good as you could expect from a 1080 monitor. The ports on the back made my DVI cable bend a little towards the connector but it works and looks nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Macbook Pro desktop expansion

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) using HMDI to VGA adaptor to the Dell monitor says my OS is not supported currently running (10.10.5 (14F27) Yosemite - Dell has no drivers for Mac and cannot get the monitor to recognize my computer or stay on. Help!
That sounds to me more an issue with the adapter than the monitor. You might try another adapter if you're able.

Can I hooh up this monitor to my Toshiba laptop

I have the Toshiba Satellite laptop, the C675-S7104 model.
As long as your laptop has a VGA or DVI output. If you have HDMI on your laptop, you may need an adapter.
