The Dynex 50" Speaker Wire worked quite well is works just as well as other higher priced speaker wires for a third of the price.

It says no to satellite box. I have Directtv w/ 2 receivers & 3 tv's to 1 receiver via swim. Will this help w/ reception quality?

No it will not help increase the signal to the Swim. if you have issues with reception quality I would be on the phone with Directv for what they charge.

Do they work for video as well as audio?

Yes if your sending video from the Male end of the adapter the single end to plug into 2 video sources.
