The phone meets our needs for answering machine built in. Nice design, easy to use. Only downside is that it doesn't work in a power outage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wanted a land-line for power outages. This phone squealed when I picked up the receiver, and was so light-weight the base fell off the table when picking up the receiver. I returned to the store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pre-order of this movie was a good experience at Best Buy. It was ready on the release date. Movie was as good as the other Marvel Avengers/Iron Man/Captain America movies....made one think about consequences for even doing good and how people w/ good intentions are flawed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

how long is the handset cord?

about 1.5 feet....not very long if need to be farther from base.
