You can't just pick a number and cook you have to go into cooking mode and then pick the time this is really difficult for me because I'm visually impaired there's also no light when you open the door it only comes on when it's cooking which does me no good unfortunately I can't take it back because I don't have the box otherwise I would take it back

does the R309YW have a light? theres mixed answers

I need to know fast as Im buying this as a gift
thanks
This microwave only has a light when it's running does not have an on off light when the door opens and closes which is very disappointing If I had to do it again I've never buy this one
