Basically plug and play set up, works well. If you live vertically, in a city house with several floors, you'll need another one or a stronger one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is our 2nd big Sharp, not by choice. Best picture quality of large screens, second only to Sony. Sound, even on a stand (i.e. not muffled by wall mount), has to be cranked way up on some shows and still hard to hear. Integrating a good auxiliary sound system is expensive. Making it work w/remote is complex, using separate remote for sound is ridiculous.
Sharp's "Smart TV" capability is a joke. Our first 60" Aquos in 2011, Internet connection kept resetting during programs, finally failed in third year. TV was fine otherwise so BB got Sharp to send new wireless card.. Fail. They replaced the TV with same model, newer year (good for them!), suggested we get signal booster. Got one, though we have BB's fastest modem and router, great connectivity. Even so, the new tv's Internet connection stayed spotty and just failed completely, now after 6 mos. Sharp is sending tech contractor, am not hopeful.
Throughout this frustrating journey, several Sharp techs independently mentioned their wireless is weak unless you live in small apt. We live in big house. But all our under 60" models, from 48"-22" Panasonic, Insignia, Sony "Smart TVs" have no problem connecting throughout the house. Dilemma: do we sacrifice money already paid for great picture, newer model w/other good features but whack-a-mole connection or spend big bucks for a Sony?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Using the NETGEAR - Powerline Ethernet Adapter

We are going to use the NETGEAR Ethernet Powerline Adapter to connect our router to the
ROKU 3. The router (next to the computer) is separated from our TV by two rooms ... almost
75 feet.
Do you have any suggestions?
Follow the Netgear set up directions about placement, make sure each box shows three steady green lights (and check that from time to time), you should be fine.
