This was a gift for my wife. She was looking for a nicer beginning guitar to get back into things. This was the perfect fit. Everything you need right in the box, and it all works! The extra 5 watts for the amp is very much worth it. The downside to this level of guitar is some shortcuts on quality. It is a great beginning instrument, but more experienced players will want something better. This one tends to lose tension on the tuners. The local music shop put on a better set of tuners for $35, no more problems. This is a great instrument for the occasional player or someone starting or getting back into things. My wife still plays it everyday.

We bought this for my wife. She loves it. The Nexus line has some of the best hardware for the price anywhere. My wife likes the seven inch form so that it fits neatly in her purse. The 4G works almost everywhere (T-Mobile for us), but most of the time it is on WiFi. My wife likes to watch her TV shows on this tablet. Set it up with a Chrome device and she can watch on the bigger screen without problem. She doesn't use the camera as much, but storage has never seemed to be an issue for her. Just a nice, solid, reliable device at a nice price point.

These smoke and CO detectors are easy to setup and install. I used an iPad to do it. I used the pure battery version. The batteries are the Energizer Lithium, so expect to spend so serious coin to replace them. Sam's carries bulk packs at a steep discount. The batteries are supposed to last years. They only connect to the WiFi occasionally, if your timeout and activity setting in your router are short, you will use up the batteries much faster. They transmit data about once a day. Over the course of about three months, all the units upgraded their shipped software version to the latest for the unit. There are more features in the later versions. One nice feature is the ability to detect shower steam, as "not smoke". They have color lights, so you can tell what kind of alarm is going off. They also have a night light capability that is motion activated. They are loud. In the tests, they are not perfectly syncronized, but they all go off pretty close together. Nice unit.

Very Nice earbuds for noisy environments

These earbuds are simply amazing. You put them in, turn them on and the world goes away. All that you are left with is the ringing in your ears. (Too many concerts) Taking calls in a noisy environment is now possible, even easy. I am still in awe whenever I turn them on. They do need to be recharged. The battery pack and electronics are in a heavier box near the plug. There are microphones in each earpiece, making the wire larger than normal, but it is proving to be pretty robust. (I worry about so many small wires in a cable) There is a clip to keep the heavier wires from tugging on your ears, the clip seems robust. I use my electronics gently, even so, these seem to be built to last a while. You are more likely to run out of charge cycles on the battery than break the things with a little care. The battery is rated for 16 hours of listening, and it holds a charge very nicely. The noise canceling is not perfect, you can still pickup sudden noises, faintly, and there is a button to turn it off. They work great on an airplane. The advantage is that you can listen to things at a much lower volume level because you don't have competing sounds to mask your signal. That can save what hearing you have left (concerts). The box comes with three sizes of ear inserts that are well-made and snap solidly to the electronics. The battery is charged with a micro-USB cable, included. There is a soft carry case for the earbuds and charge cable. I ultimately went for the earbuds over the Zik II due to size while traveling. I am happy with them.

Does best buy carry bose rechargable batteries?
The battery is not replacable. It is in a sealed electonics unit near the plug on the earphones. You can only recharge the batteries in the unit, and not while you are listening.

motorcycle use and noise-cancellation performance

Basically, according to the reliable and independent review above, plus all the comments at the bottom, they do not seem to block wind noise at all and also engine noise well. Why did Bose not engineer them for motorcycle use?

The noise canceling comes from the sound received at the microphones in each earbud. Noise cancelling works best with a constant noise that doesn't vary much, like a fan. If the noise varies, like wind gusts, the sound is damped, not cancelled. Engine noise is blocked if it is above the cutoff frequency for the noise cancelling algorithm. I don't believe the microphone is noise damped at all. The level on noise reduction is also based on the fit and seal of the earbuds, an over ear device may prove better overall noise reduction. There is only so much you can do with an earbud.
