Great computer for homework business or personal use. All of my girls love them and I use one as well. You can stream, do videos, video chat. Easy to operate Windows 10 or 7.

No, you have to have a power supply.

Does the machine keeps the ice from melting?

No, there is no cooling system contained.

does the machine shave the ice or just granulates it ?

It shaves it into a really fine slush. Kids and adults love it.

What is the best kind of ice to use with this machine? I would love to use it in my classroom for rewards.

As long as it's not chunky ice. So ice tray from freezer, ice maker or bag ice. The blades are sharp and grind it up really fine. From their experiences as long as it's not a hard chunk because it's a little rough on the machine. All others work fine.
