What's great about it: Strong, well made, good size
What's not so great: Could use a safety strap, in case the bolt works loose
I used this product just this weekend on a trip to San Antonio and it performed wonderfully. Kept the camera out of my way when needed and was easy to get to when needed.

Purchased with the D3200 camera, would have preferred the 55-300mm, but they were out and I really wanted to use the camera.
So far so good, same great Nikon quality.

What's great about it: Easy to use but with lots of manual adjustments
What's not so great: Extra battery pricing
I gave my daughter my 3100 for her work, she's a Marine Biologist and travels all over the world. So of course I had to replace my camera and the 3200 was just the thing. I do like Canon, but they feel like they are cheaply made compared to the Nikon.
I'm going to have so much fun out in West Texas this summer with this camera

how many yards or feet.

I want to photography wildlife (deer) how far will this lens reach for a good picture.
I've used it to take some fine photos out to a couple of hundred yards.
