Pros:
- solid construction
- easy wifi connectivity setup
- specifically confirmed compatible with new TVs (Sony), old AV receivers (Yamaha), Xbox One, 360, PS3, and Amazon Echo (via IFTTT)
cons:
- occasional misunderstood multi-commands or confusion when certain components are already powered on or voice commands through amazon Echo.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will the remote control apps (Netflix/Amazon) on Samsung smart tv?

Can't address Samsung specifically but it does successfully control the apps in the Sony interface.
