I don't know if it would work on your Mac but the drive was compatible with my laptop which is a MacBook Pro 13" OSX 10.10.5

Will this transfer data from hard drive to new laptop?

I have a hard drive from a broken laptop and was not able to retrieve my files before the laptop crashed. So, can I use this product to move files from the hard drive removed from the broken laptop to my new laptop?
