Needed a hard drive right away. Went to buy this one and checked price at other stores at checkout and found a lower price at Fry's. Best Buy matched it and installed the hard drive and not a problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Formated

Does this drive come fully Formated for Win7......so once installed....it is ready to work.
Once installed into your system, the Windows 7 setup will take care of making partitions and formatting the drive. Just install the drive and enter your bios to make sure your computer does recognize the new drive. Save the bios and your good to go.

will this work in my HP Pavilion.
As long as your motherboard supports SATA II you shouldn't have any problems with it.
