I am very impress with the sound of this JBL speaker,all my music sounds Great,,from classical, salsa, jazz, and opera !!! I am very happy with my purchase, and I will recommend these product over any other brand .

Can this speaker skip songs?

Does the speaker have the capability of skipping songs if your Ipad/Iphone is in another room?
Yes it does but the JBLworks and sounds better.

Is there anyway to disable the auto-shut off feature?

The soundlink mini auto-shuts off after 30 minutes if not used.

I keep this device docked / fully charged and use it for my home entertainment system, because it has unbeatable sound quality.

Annoyed that I have to turn on the player every time I want to use it...Totals to 400+ times every year (est. 1+ times a day*365 days)
Yes,,,after 10 minutes it goes off.
