Christmas present for my kid. She loves it. I recommend getting a lightning cable to extend to your iphone. A thick case will cause issues docking and the cable reduces the chance of damaging the phone or dock. You can buy an aftermarket cable for $20 or less.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Returned because belt motor was failing after a week. Thankfully there's a long grace period during Christmas. Only buy the Best Buy items not marketplace if you think theres a possibility you may have to return it. While it worked it was ok, not great. We went with a real turntable, Sony. The Sony is excellent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Will this dock work with my new IPhone 5c?
I would think so. I hooked up my 5s and it worked fine.

Remote functionality

Does the remote allow you to shuffle through songs, skip songs, and otherwise navigate through your Ipod?
It's my kids, but I know you can skip, pause, rewind, volume control and whatnot.

Is there an extension adaptor I can use?

I can't dock my iPad with the case on. Is there an extension adaptor I can use? It's a pain to take the IPad out on the case to charge or skype.
Yes. You can by an extender cable (lightning cable in my case) and have no issues. I wont specify where because I assume it will be edited out of this post, But I bought one from a very popular site for about $20. I have read you leave the cable plugged into the dock all the time so you don't get the goofy message from the iPhone about an unrecognized device.
