amazing useful smart watch. ive owned other android wear watch but the tizen is so much smoother and battery life is great for all that it does. gps locks on quick.

If I buy the AT&T one... Will I be able to connect it to any provider I want (because of the integrated electronic-SIM) ?

you would think so, but att told me I couldn't when I activated mine. its built in for the provider

if i buy this smart watch (gear s2 classic). do i need my phone nearby or do i need my phone at all?

you need your phone to set it up and dl watch faces and apps. along with setting what notification you want to receive. other than that it doesn't need the phone near it 24/7.
