Great speakers, need subwoofer

I bought these as speakers for my desktop computer. I currently have them mounted on the wall (the swivel mount that it comes with is convenient, and allows for quite a variety of setup options).
I tried using these without a subwoofer for a while, but in my opinion they will not deliver the bass you'll need (even for me just listening to some music at my desk). I would highly recommend buying a subwoofer to compliment these, but at least you can buy these separate and decide for yourself if you want to add on a sub later.
For reference, I ended up buying the SVS SB-1000 subwoofer which seems to compliment the speakers nicely.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The short: Great receiver, you most likely won't have any problems.
The long:
I do really love this receiver. It's extremely new (when I bought it), and I've ran into issues because of this. I also purchased a brand new Sony 4K TV that I wanted to pair with this receiver over HDMI/ARC, but for weeks I'd run in to non-stop issues - to the point where I couldn't even load the on-screen menu on my TV. I had to try to use that tiny dial display which is very frustrating. Must have been some sort of HDMI handshake issue. However, I've received software updates over the past few weeks and that has helped resolve most of those issues.
Currently, the advertised Spotify Connect feature does not work. This is a known issue at least and they say they are working on it, so again, hopefully another software update will fix that.
I don't know that I'm quite sold on the tiny dial display, as I am a more functional-minded vs artistic-driven person. However, I have to admit it does look very sleek and the style has grown on me.
Overall though, I am very happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend this receiver.

I'll be honest, I'm not really impressed with this center channel. HOWEVER, I did not give it a worse rating because it is partly my own fault: I have main speakers that do not match this Martin Logan. My mains are Polk speakers.
I bought this speaker because of it's smaller size and my constraint on space (had to fit on a fireplace mantle). The size of this speaker is awesome, nice and small. However, it also sounds like a small speaker in my opinion.
I've ran Audyssey MultEQ and messed around with channel level settings but yea, it just doesn't sound as powerful as I would like.
I would recommend buying a larger speaker if you have the space, or even if you don't (I'm most likely going to try to build a shelf below the fireplace mantle to place a larger center speaker).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How does the phone I order off of Bestbuy.com get activated?
Thinking of ordering a phone of their site and have it delivered to my home. How does it get activated? Do i have to take it in to a Best Buy retailer or to a Verizon store?
Depends if you (1) buying off contract or (2) upgrading with new contract.
(1) You simply swap the SIM card from your old phone to your new phone.
(2) They will send a new SIM card. You put it in, call a special Verizon number they send you, and the new SIM card becomes active (your old one in your old phone is no longer active).
