Chromecast Audio is awesome. It works like a charm. Audio quality is good. Easy setup. I purchased mainly to connect to the receiver for zone 2 since it only accepts analog inputs on zone 2. Quite a few apps. Would give it 5 stars if it can also allow to cast video sources like YouTube but only plays the audio.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fire TV is one of the best streaming boxes. The specs are the best of any streaming boxes. It is very fast to boot and the UI is seamless. I have played some games just using the remote and works well.

Stream Existing Owned Movies

Can I stream movies and music that I already own from my computer, a la AppleTV or is it only for Amazon owned/purchased content?
You can use Plex Server on the computer and Plex app on FireTV to watch content from the computer.
