Is it possible to connect this device directly to an audio-video receiver if I want to listen to my music? I'd use its app to control playback, but I'd prefer to have a wired connection to the avr.
Guess it would depend on your AV receiver. To my knowledge, most don't have direct plug-n-play capabilities. However, I plug mine directly into an LG Blu-Ray player than runs directly into my Pioneer AV receiver via HDMI In, which of course eventually runs out to the HDMI Out to SmartTV. Don't know if any of that helps or makes sense ;)

no. best bet is to hook it up via HDMI to an older, smaller HDTV or even your current HDTV. does have a VGA, DVI, and HDMI connections on back

no camera, to my knowledge. Didn't even come with an HDMI port and it came packaged together with an HD Computer

How many usb ports does it have? Also is there a camera?
no usb port, no hdmi port either...upset me very much because it came packaged together with AN HDMI COMPUTER!!!!! It only has VGA and DVI connectivity
