What's great about it: The quality of the picture was great!
What's not so great: So far nothing.
I haven't purchased a 3-D TV yet, but I looking forward to watching movies in 3-D. I stream movies from Netfix. The picture is crystal clear. The Blu-ray player was on sale and was quite a bargain. I'm excited about building my new home theater around this Blu-ray player..

No sound when playing regular DVD's

This works great when playing Blu-Ray DVD's, but there is no sound when I put in a regular DVD (there is video but no sound). I have this connected to my TV with an HDMI cord. Why isn't this working?
Maybe you need a better quality HDMI cord. Sometimes you have spend a little more money to get a better quality product.
