I needed a new microwave oven and I found this one at Best Buy. I was really curious about this oven because it came with and oven as well! Well it was the best oven to buy!! You can cook pizza's in it, French fries and corn dogs and TV dinners!!! Everything comes out sooo good, especially pizza's! My husband says we should have bought a second one incase they stop making this style!!!! Really worth the money and works so well! Money well spent! Go a head buy this microwave! I promise you will love it too!! But put on some weight because of this microwave eating too much pizza for sure!!!!!! Like I said go and buy one!!! Just a great microwave!!!!!!

How many inches clearance from walls and top cabinets?
Wanting to put it in a microwave cubby and wanted to make sure toaster part does not get too hot. I would have a few inches clearance on each side and about 1inch above. (it's not a built in)
Clearance is: 4 inches (10cm) of space on the top, sides and the back for proper ventilation. Hope this helps you.

When door is opened, does the light stay ON ?
Yes it does Ken!! This oven is just wonderful!

My current need is for a 1.1 or 1.2 cf microwave BUT the light MUST remain ON when I open the door. Is this true for all LG mw's of this size?
The LG model I inquired about is too high (15.5")
Yes the light stays on when you open the door for this model and stays on while cooking. I am not sure about other models.

How would you clean oven part of this microwave? Is the oven draw removeable? Can you set the timer for the oven or just the microwave?
The tray in the oven drawer comes out for cleaning. Very simple. Nothing gets really dirty. Each part can be set. As too cooking with the microwave and the oven drawer at the same time, I don't know if you can do this. Only one way to find out and just do it! It is a very simple microwave to use and I love the inside because it is a dark gray and doesn't show many stains if any. It is just wonderful! I love it! Gotta stop eating these darn pizza's

Microwave oven light
So, the microwave oven light is not on during cooking (so you cannot see your food), but only comes on when you open the door?
The light comes on when the door is opened and stays on when cooking. If yours doesn't call the store where you bought it!

Can this be shipped to best buy in Canada.
I really don't know for sure. Call Best Buy and ask them. We love this microwave! Worth the money and it was so much cheaper then Sears!!
