great tactile response (I prefer to the glass panel). Only shortfall is lack of numeric keypad

Another solid GPS from Garmin. Lifetime maps and traffic are a must, so this is a great asset if you get the nüvi 2597LMT. The upgraded directions also will tell you in advance which lanes you should be in for a turn, and you now can see the name of the road/street you are travelling on. In Search, you no longer start with the ZIP code - that apparently annoyed a lot of people (I got used to it).

is it work in Mexico ?

It depends on which map you have installed. If you have the entire North America map set, then yes. If you don't, you can go to Garmin's site and purchase maps of other areas (hint - you will probably need an additional memory card. I added the Garmin Europe maps to mine and needed the additional memory)
