As the top of my post suggests, this is, bay far, what an open world game should look/feel/play like! Sucker Punch have done an incredible job with their latest title in this franchise and first foray into current generation gaming. In fact, they've done such a great job, that they've actually embedded a Photo Mode into the live game play. You can pause the game play and take a cool shot with the particles flying around and everything. And that's just the start of Photo Mode! I shared a video link explaining more about Photo Mode. Can I exchange my Xbox 1 for a ps4?
I have never tried trading in anything at Best Buy before, if that's what you're referring to, but I do know they sell refurbished products which would indicate some sort of sell back option.
If you literally mean you want to go to the store with your XBox One and swap it for a PlayStation 4, no business, anywhere, would ever do that.

Do I "Need" to buy anything else?
I am looking to upgrade my PS3 that I have had for ages (since about a year after it came out). It is starting to have issues such as shutting down while in use, resetting the video settings on its own, etc. I use it largely for Blu Ray but do play games and use the apps for Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, etc. DO I have to buy anything else to use this if I am not planning to use online gaming?
Not sure what you mean by "anything else". If your console runs Blu-Rays and apps fine, apart from the obvious things like a TV, internet connection and a Dualshock 4, you don't need anything else.
Now, as far as upgrading goes, the only upgrading you can do on a PS3 is getting a hard drive with more capacity and faster read/write times on said hard drive.
Also, this may not be a big issue, but I have noticed that the newer (more recently manufactured) Dualshock 3s tend to connect muçh faster after the initial pairing.

How do I reset the remote for the 42" 1080?
My TV was put on a cable remote in a place I previously lived and the batteries died in the tv remote. Now that it is not on the cable remote any longer the tv remote will not operate it with the new batteries in place. How do I reset the remote so that it will operate the tv?
It is my understanding that no matter what secondary remote control, universal or not, you set to your television, it should never cause the original remote control to cease fuctioning as it was originally made to. I'm also pretty sure there's no way to reset the original remote control either.
If your remote control that came with your television is no longer working, I suggest you call up the customer service of your television's manufacturer and see about getting a replacement.
Alternatively, if you know what your television's model number is, you can find one from online retailers easily.
