This washing machine works great. I had an older Samsung model that broke randomly am I was very upset. I only had it for a couple years. I decided to give Samsung another chance and so far so good. It works way better than the previous model I bought in 2012. It's quieter and washes my clothes more efficiently. Maybe Samsung has finally got it right.

Any problems with unbalanced loads happening a lot?
I have been researching washing machines and have noticed a lot of the top load washers have issues with the clothing coming unbalanced and the washing machine stopping until you re-balance the clothing and start the machine again. I haven't seen any issues with that with this Samsung top load washer. Has anyone experienced that issue a lot or a little? I am really gearing towards purchasing this one but wanted some feedback.
The only time I have this problem is when I was a load with a few pairs of jeans in it. I always make sure I put the jeans on the bottom of the load. It helps keep the load balanced when the jeans become wet and heavy. Hope this helps.

Is HE Top Loader not gentle on clothes (as stated in Consumer Reports)?
Consumer Reports states that the HE top loads are not as gentle as the front loads and that the clothes are more wrinkled etc. Is that the case?
I don't feel that clothes are any more wrinkled than they are in any other washing machine. I have never felt that this washer was not gentle on my clothes. No complaints.

water temperature
Is anyone else having an issue with the wash always being done in hot water even when you select cold for the wash cycle ??
I have not had this problem. Is it possible that you have the hot water hose hooked up to the wrong side?
