I bought two of these. One for my wife and one for myself. The keyboard is extremely comfortable and very responsive. The mouse works perfectly as well. The mouse has a neat feature that allows you to disengage the click feel of the roller for smooth tracking.

This soundbar really enhances the sound of my tv. I use it in a small home gym usually while on the tread mill and thanks to the soundbar I can hear the tv. I have not been able to program it to be used with my direct tv remote yet but I only tried one time. I am hopeful that I will one day only have to use one remote. On a side note, I did pair it(easily) to my phone for Bluetooth functionality and it worked flawlessly.

I bought this speaker after trying the Sonos 1 for a room that is 27'x12'. The Sonos 3 is plenty powerful to fill the room with sound. I was amazed at how clear this speaker sounds. I have the speaker set up on one end of the room and can hear it clearly on the other end (27' away) without having it turned up all the way. If you are debating between this speaker and the Sonos 1 I would say get this one if you can afford it. I'm a proponent of "it's better to have and not need than need and not have". Highly recommend this speaker!!!

Sonos is a great product and concept. I own one speaker, a connect, and a connect amp and love them all. I purchased this speaker for a room which the room turned out to be too big for this speaker. The room is 27' long by 12' wide and this speaker does not have enough to fill the room. The sound quality was good but not as full as what I was looking for. I returned it and got the play 3. I would recommend this speaker to someone depending on the room size. I also read that people would often times buy two of these and use them in stereo. Sonos should offer a package deal with a package price for that.

This is so awesome. I installed the connect amp downstairs in the basement and my router is upstairs in the family room. It connected wirelessly and I've used it a number of times without issues. I do not have any other SONOS products. It is NOT wired to my router!! I emphasize that because the sales person told me that it would need to be hard wired to the router. I have two hard wired JBL speakers attached and the system works flawlessly. I will be getting another connect amp for the upstairs deck. I currently have two Yamaha speakers on my upstairs deck hooked up to my ONKYO 7.1 system but the SONOS works MUCH MUCH better.

Im sure there are other blue ray players out there with more bells and whistles but this one does not disappoint. It's wifi which makes it that much better. I have used some of the apps flawlessly and blue ray DVDs play clear.

Bough this case for my wife and she is happy with it. Gives her good grip on the phone. She has dropped the phone on concrete and there is no damage to the phone or case. It also adds minimal size and weight to the phone, so little in fact that I almost didn't mention it

Do the Play 3 speakers need its own electrical power?
They do need to be plugged in but they do not need a dedicated outlet if that's what you are asking

I believe you would just need the connect for that. The connect amp is used if you want to hard wire speakers (2).

does the amp need to be hard wired to the internet
Does the system need to be hard wired through the ethernet cable?
No. I am using it wirelessly. I do not have any other SONOS products......yet.
