I reviewed the picture on several models and Sharp is a good name for their products. This TV was purchased for my very elderly parents. It was the right size for their deteriorating eyesight now aided by the very good HD.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: gets the job done consistently
What's not so great: Needed shorter version
The product met most of my needs. It has gotten he job done as designed with no problems rather than being longer than needed. I wish it was available in a shorter length as I use the HDMI cord from the camera to a device that attaches to the top of the camera. usually the shorter lengths are less expensive so that would have helped me more as well. I purchased the shortest length available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have the ns-hdmi 8 insignia cable does this also send audio signal as well as video, do I still need digital optical cable

where does the hdmi cable go

In my case the cable went from a DirecTV cable box to a HDTV
