What's great about it: The quality of the video is excellent, and you can attach it to a hat, waist or wrist band.
What's not so great: Very small so you have to be careful not to drop it!
I tried the GoPro Hero3 out before we go on our trip. It has been great, so easy to use. I have transferred the videos to my computer and was able to share them. I can't wait to use it on our trip!

What's great about it: There is no interruption in the connection
What's not so great: Not one thing is bad about this cable
We had another brand of cable and noticed an interruption in the connection between our Sling box and the modem. After buying Dynex from Best Buy and connecting it, problem solved.

What's great about it: Just go to our computers and pull up tv
What's not so great: we have to go on the web each time
We have had a sling since 2004 and recently bought an upgrade from Best Buy. Installation is easy and on an HD computer the picture is just like HD TV. Plus we can pull up our home TV channels off Direct TV from anywhere on our laptops and watch TV just like at home. Good value.
This product has... Secure connection, Easy to set up, Reliable connection, Easily expanded, love tv so sling is ideal

Is the slingbox software compatible with Windows 8 and Verizon FIOS?
I got a slingbox 350 for Christmas and had to return it because nothing would work. No downloading, couldn't create an account, and customer service was non-existent. Since the other reviews said it was wonderful, I wonder if any of them had Windows 8 and Verizon FIOS, as I do. If your product can't work with it, let me know now, please. It seems like something I could really use.
I cannot answer about Verizon Fios, but we have Windows 8 and it works great. You know that the Geek Squad folks are great and can help. We got Geek Squad with one product and it covers everything we buy as long as it is within the time frame of the coverage. We plan to renew because they stay on the phone with you until your problem is solved. And we have had to use them on a couple of occasions so well worth it.

Can multiple people watch different channels at the same time?
We have had sling since 2004. The Sling is connected to one TV but we can watch it on any computer - one computer at a time. What we did is connected our older sling to one TV and the upgrade one from Best Buy to another TV - so each person can watch what they want on their computer. Sling asks for a name for it - so we named each one different, that's how we can call them up separately.
