What's great about it: Expandability, size
What's not so great: Google maps is broken for this device
Love everything about it except the Google Maps App (from the factory and th update) will cause a freeze after a few minutes. Happens on all tab3 7.0's I've tried and I've tried a few.
Only Google Maps has the issue, Other mapping apps work fine.
Expand the satellite view and scroll around to create the freeze. Also will freeze after a while just scrolling around the maps.

I don't have a laptop. Will the mk520 combo still work?
I've used it with both a laptop and Desktop with no issues.
If your BIOS has settings to enable a USB mouse and keyboard you may want to enable these to allow the BIOS to recognize these devices as well as wired devices for setting BIOS values.
My older desktop needed this setting changed since it expected a wired keyboard and mouse.
My newer Laptop and probably most newer desktop systems will not have or need the setting changed. YMMV

Is this normal for my mouse?
The mouse that is advertised in here shows it having a small light shining out of it on top of the mouse but my mouse doesn't have that or show that at least....Is that normal
The light on the mouse only lights when the mouse is first powered on or comes out of sleep (battery saving) mode. I think it's a battery OK indicator.

What Model is the Mouse? Does the wheel spin freely?
Specs don't mention the model of the mouse. I love the simple Logitech M325 mouse I am using. My husband just bought a (different) keyboard/mouse combo and the wheel on the mouse it came with doesn't spin - it kind of roughly click-click-clicks along; not easy to quickly go from the top of a page down without having to use the scroll bar. Thanks.
No, the mouse has detents and is NOT freewheeling
