For the money, it's a decent headphone. With the Sony name I was expecting a little better sound quality, but it's not bad. We got these so not to wake the baby while watching a Movie with our surround sound system. I guess I'm just missing the surround sound :)
I do recommend this product and as a tech myself, in the field I have installed a bunch of these for people. Enjoy!

I tried the cheaper ones first and I got a very unreliable experience. When writing images or videos to SD Card be sure to get a higher class / rated SD Card or you may end up losing data like I did.
So far with this card, I'm getting rapid shots with zero problems.

Can I purchase just the headphones and will two headphones work with one transmitter?

I couldn't find just a pair of headphones w/o the base, but yes you can use 2 headphones on one base. However, both must be off the base when you want to only use 1. When headphones are on the base, it turns the base off so the other will not work.

can this be used on an i pod touch?

Yes. This unit installs with a headphone jack so, yes. However, you can't walk around with the iPod in your hand while doing so. The range on these headphones can get staticy after 30-50 feet or through walls, etc. But yes they will install on iPod.

how can I connect 2 sets?

I bought on headphone (wireles). I use it when I watch tv and the kids are asleep, my husband wants to join me and would like to have his own headphones too, so do I need to buy a 2nd set with the box and everything? what about cords and splitter?

Yes you can. My wife & I both use one when our daughter is asleep. You can use 2 headphones with only one base installed to your TV. Both must be off the charging base though. When 1 is on the charger it turns the base off so it isn't broadcasting to the other. But yes you can have 2.

compatibility with go pro 4 silver edition

I'd entered go pro's webstite an there it says that that the SanDisk Extreme 32GB microSDHC is comptaible with this edition of Go Pro but it says nothing regarding SanDisk Pixtor 32 GB despite the prices are similiar. I want to know if the SanDisk Pixtor 32 GB is compatible with the GoPro Hero4 Silver Edition,
