I returned it after finding it impossible to make it adhere to my tracker. It would not stick. Could not tell from instructions which side should attach to the tracker, so might have gotten it backwards. Bought a cheaper one online and had no problem.

Very nice appearance and features. And the recent firmware update with new clock faces is excellent. Sleep monitoring is a great feature Apple Watch 2 does not have, as well as continuous heart rate monitoring. Perhaps it is an issue with all trackers, but you will get some spurious heart rate spikes if you are not very careful about placement and tightness on your arm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The HBS 770 has added some new internal features that are good - mainly the battery monitor that shows up on the iPhone app. But the physical design is worse than the older HBS 700 model. The older model has sturdier wires and the controls are easier to find and operate. The call button and the start/stop button are much harder to find by touch on the newer model. And the volume and forward/back controls are now moved from the top to the side and are more difficult to operate; you have to slide rather than just press them. If they had just made the internal refinements and left the physical design alone I would have given the newer model a 5 instead of a 3.

It works well once you summon up enough strength to insert it into the socket in the car. And it takes up more space than I would like. Forgot to mention - too expensive. So why did I buy it in the first place? It was the only white car charger in the store, and for my wife's birthday I needed a white one to match her car and the nice retractable cord she already had.

Is this compatible with a mid-2009 macbook pro running Yosemite ot El Capitan?
Don't know, but works great on 2015 model with El Capitan. Had a mid 2009 model that worked well with a 500 gig Seagate very similar to my new Seagate with earlier OS versions updated to the latest available up to March 2015.
