HOW CAN I MUFFLE THE MOTOR NOISE?

THIS FREEZER IS SO LOUD I CAN HEAR IT IN THE BEDROOM WITH THE DOOR CLOSED AND THE TV ON. I AM CONSIDERING RETURNING THE FREEZE BECAUSE OF THIS. I HAVEN'T TRANSFERED MY FOOD OUT OF THE OLD FREEZER BECAUSE I AM SO DISGUSTED BECAUSE I DON'T THINK I CAN LISTEN TO THIS NOISE FOR 20 YEARS.
Maybe there is something wrong with the freezer. Ours is quiet as a church mouse!
