What's great about it: It worked
What's not so great: Product Support
What can I say. It works in my win7 pro. One item of caution, is to be sure to turn on the bluetooth service in your: control panel -> administrative tools ->services->bluetooth support services.
Even support for this product did not know that.
But now that it works, I like it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This does not work on a 64 bit windows machine

The firmware does not download onto a 64 bit windows machine. Found this out after I purchased and tried to install. Rocket Fish confirmed this will not work with a 64 bit windows 8 machine only a 32 bit windows 8 machine.
Not true, it works on mine. Your OS should automatically load the correct driver. The support there is terrible.

Windows 7 keeps Updating with "Generic"

I have given up installing this.

You cannot install on Win7(64) without the Micro USB in the computer,... and as soon as it is in, the plug and play on WIndows 7 (x64) keeps installing "Generic Bluetooth Adapter ". If you uninstall that in Device Manager, it keeps coming back as soon as youput the microUSB in,.

What is the driver/location on the install DVD for Win7(x64?) if I update the drivers with that, it should work. Which of these three file folders is it in?

SafeMode install?
Is the bluetooth services turned on? Look in control panel ->admin tools ->services -> bluetooth services. Make sure startup is set to automatic.
