This hard drive is great! Best storage hard drive for a really good price (109.99 at the time I purchased). For those looking for a hard drive to expand their storage, this is what you'll need! Not only does it have storage, it is made by a company I trust completely for their superior products.
My Usage:
I mainly use this for the Xbox 1. The internal 500gb hard drive isn't enough to store all your games in. Finding which games to delete is the thing in the past for me. It really gets annoying on choosing which to delete and which to save. After buying this hard drive, i don't have this problem anymore and I install all my games with their updates. After installing all all the games and gold free games, I still have 3.9 TB of space left. That's freakin Insane!
Pros:
-Games and Applications run faster than being stored on the internal drive for Xbox 1
-Durable case that keeps the hard drive enclosed
-Massive space is insane!
Cons:
-It needs to be plugged into an outlet to power on
-The LEDs inside the casing can be too bright if not positioned right.
-No power off switch
-The design of the case could be a little better
Final thoughts:
I had this hard drive for almost a month and it's still going strong. I will do an update if anything comes up. For anyone looking for a hard drive to increase space either on your X1, PC, or WiiU, I highly recommend this product!

Is the included software on CD or on the hard drive itself?

The included software: WD SmartWare Pro, Acronis TrueImage WD Edition, are they on CD or on the hard drive itself?
The software is included in the Hard drive.

Is it compatible with Xbox One and does it have an Australian power outlet

This will definitely work on your Xbox 1! I'm currently using this hard drive for my Xbox 1 and it works. As for the outlet, you might want to use a converter/adapter to have it plugged in.

can you use a second WD external hard drive connected to the computer

I have an external WD hard drive which is full and would like to get a second WD hard drive and keep both of the m connected, so I can recover data from either one when I need it
As long as your computer has the usb input for it, you'll be fine. Your computer will definitely pick it up once you plug it in.

Has anyone used this drive to upgrade their original PS3 hard dive?

I am wondering if this drive would be a compatible replacement for my 160 gb PS3 hard drive.
This hard drive is not compatible for your PS3. This hard drive is too big to fit in the PS3. You'll want a 2.5 internal hard drive such as this item.
