What's great about it: portable
What's not so great: uk grounding
Was able to keep tablet and phone charged, good for hair dryer etc. Did not use it with larger devices. At first could not find where third grounding prong for uk was, but later figured out it was plastic and folded down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

To be safe if you are plugging in a device you have only used in the US rotate the selector to change the setting to converter. That's what I did, because I was uncertain if my electronics could auto adapt and straight 230V can burn out devices which cannot auto adjust.
