My wife thought a 48" TV was too big for our room. We were replacing a 32" CRT TV that was Hugh and weighed 150Lbs. A lot space on the old TV was unused space the case took up. After some discussion she agreed if I promised to take it back if it was too large. Well once she saw the outstanding HD Full Screen picture. She loved it. Now we have an Outstanding Smart HDTV. Can't believe the picture quality..

Every Western Digital I have ever bought has been a great hard drive. I cloned my primary drive to this. It will be my quick fix when my primary drive fails. I only use my primary drive for the OS and programs. All data is on my secondary drive, which is completely backed up to an external drive weekly. All drives will fail eventually, be prepared.

I had previously bought a computer for my grand children to share. Unfortuneately the two older granddaughters did not share with their younger brother. I saw this PC a a good price and decided the features it had would meet his needs. Now he has a PC he can use to do school work and play games.

Solved the Comcast problem. My old router worked just fine, unfortunately Comcast decided not to support that router any more. I cannot say that this router is any better than the one I was using.

What's great about it: Great Picture and Number of Features
What's not so great: Magic Remote hard to use for some people.
All of the features and the picture are great. Unfortunately my wife could not make the Magic Remote work and she hated the TV. All she wanted was to watch TV, all of the other features were just confusing. So I returned to Best Buy to find out if an another remote was available. A knowledgeable associate understood my problem and suggested a Universal Remote that he guaranteed would work with with the TV. After setting up this remote I am happy to say my wife is now pleased with the TV. The rest of the family, especially my grandchildren, are enjoying all of the Smart TV features.
This product has... Useful Internet-enabled features, Easy to set up, Great value and features for the price

Is this compatible with Dell Studio XPS 8100?
I am not familiar with this computer, however hard drives like this one should be compatible. If you are using this as a gaming PC then you might want to consider the WD Black hard drive.

Older laptop wireless a/b card
I use this router with a couple of ac newer a/c devices and it works great. However, I will be "inheriting" and older win7 computer with an a/b wireless card. Does this router broadcast an a/b signal? Can I use a usb external card? Which one is best?
I think it will work fine. I have laptops that use 3 different operating systems and they all connect just fine. It works with VISTA, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. The Vista machine is a 2007 model and connects just fine. The router also works with my Kindle Fire HD 1st edition and my new wireless printer.
I also have a Windows 7 Desktop that is connected via a CAT 5 ethernet cable as is my older DVD player. I have had as many as 19 wireless devices connected to this router at the same time when all of my kids and grand kids are at my house.

Yes and No. I had a wireless phone before I bought this system and it still works fine. If it hooks to your phone line it will work. That is the Yes part.. The No part is it does not let the old phone use the features included with this system.

Mouse wont connect
Check the battery in the mouse and make sure it is turned on. If it has a good battery and is turned on try a different USB port or try it with a different computer.
