Bought the receiver and came home all excited to hook it up but soon realized it was defective. It did nothing . wouldn't even turn on. Total waste of my time . took it back and got another one but am still weary of this item . but best buy was awesome and good customer service

Yes my son is using it right now with the original iPad. When you go into the store have a clerk get the correct Logitech case for you. It will say along the box which model it is for

Are the legs removable?
Have a tight space for this unit. If removed, do you think I'd have any risk with the unit overheating? Thanks for your help.
Yes !! We already had to buy a cooling fan for this item . it will definitely over heat . thankfully my husband is really great with electronics so he was able to get a fan and correct the problem before it destroyed our unit
