Will this work in lap tops? I need more memory. I bought a wrong one from best buy and I don't want to spend this much money and it will be wrong again.

Not sure what kind of slot in your laptop, but this card will be OK for the laptop since it's included an SD adapter which allow you use it as regular size SD card, not micro. But if you laptop can work with micro SD card. You don't have to use the adaptor.
